Milestone errected around 1820, one of a series along Thomas Telford's Holyhead road. It is a 'limestone tapered milestone with chamfered edges and gabled top, the form echoed in shape of inset cast-iron plaque.' The stone reads: HOLY-HEAD 30 BANGOR 5 C.CURIG 9m-3F. The milestone outside Bethesda football club is Grade II listed because it is a 'well-preserved example of one of the series of handsome milestones along Holyhead road, retaining its cast-iron plaque.'
