The village of Dingestow is situated approximately three and a half miles south west of Monmouth. There is a large caravan park situated between the village and it's parish church - St. Dingat's (NPRN 222710). There are the remains of two castles immediately north of the village - Dingestow Castle (NPRN 306496) and Mill Wood motte and bailey castle (NPRN 306497). There are also two notable country houses near the village - Treowen House (NPRN 20921) and Dingestow Court (NPRN 36810).
