Description
Late C18th 2 storey house, now embedded in a range of farm buildings but originally free standing. The farm is laid out in an L-plan. Formerly isolated it is now situated near the A5 and Ysbyty road. Described in British Listed Buildings (the structure is grade II listed) as an C18th end-chimney farmhouse with attached agricultural range forming an L-plan. Interior had two finely shaped and chamfered cruck blades, re-used in the C19th stable annexe. The house was said to be thatched according to the Pant Glas estate survey of 1767. Has been converted into a field centre by the National Trust sometime since 2000.
