The 1st edition of the historic 25-inch O. S. maps, published in 1889, depicts Llandegley Mill as a working corn mill, despite the fact that there is scant evidence for a water supply or water holding pond. The 2nd edition (1904) names the mill without depicting its use. There is still a building on the footprint of the mill.
