The 1st and 2nd editions of the historic 25-inch Ordnance Survey maps, published in 1889 and 1905 respectively, depict an active woollen mill at this location. A leat brought water from the Afon Soden to an irregular pond and two small buildings at the south side of the Cardigan to Aberystwyth road. The site has been obliterated by the widening of this road.
