The 1st edition of the historic 25-inch O. S. maps, published in 1888, names this site as Pandy Cloth Factory, whilst the 2nd edition (1906) includes the term "fulling mill". A mill race brought water 330 metres from the Afon Gwynon to a small pond west of the mill, and the water wheel was on the south gable. The stone-built and slated building has been renovated and converted to a dwelling.
