The track is located on Crug Hywel (Table Mountain). It was the Iron Age track into Crug Hywel hillfort, ascending from the north and entering the fort through its east side. The gap in the ramparts measures about 10 metres. The track may have been surfaced in stone, but stone has also eroded out of the ramparts on to it. T. Desalle & N.A.
