It is described in the Caernarvonshire Inventory, Vol. II, 171, (1147). Long Hut SE of Dinas Ty-du at 950ft above OD. The remains of a rectangular building on a tiny platform cut into the steep SE slope of the hill. Its long axis is parallel with the contours and it was 10ft wide and over 20ft long, the NE end being destroyed by a modern path. The walls survive as low overgrown mounds 4-5ft wide. Condition: very poor. OAN Site visit 2007. The location of this site could not be ascertained. The field it is within is almost totally blanket covered with gorse.
