Site associated with Tirherbert Colliery, 1914-58 (nprn 507791). Trackway, possibly originally a tramway used to convey coal from Tirherbert Colliery. Approximately 300m ENE-WSW, the best preserved section of which is a well-formed ditch3-4m wide with upcast banks. In line with the W end of the track is an engine base (nprn 507631).
