A complex of disparate sections of a sunken trackway that follow the current B4391 between Bala and Ffestiniog. The surveyed section runs for approximately 3km and consists of sections of trackway that divert away from the modern road to cross the easiest fordable areas of streams etc. There are five separate sections of trackway (NPRN 514546, 514587, 514589, 514598 and 514606) and the complex also takes in the putative Elizabethan bridge at Taihirion (NPRN 24157).
