A short siding branching southwest from the tramway (NPRN 525496) is shown leading to a small square building (engine shed?) on OS 2nd edition mapping. A larger rectangular builing with a small extension on its northern elevation and an outbuilding to the north-northeast is also shown (maintenance shed?). The large rectangular building is shown as being still extant on modern aerial photography and is now associated with the quarry's lorry weighbridge.
