Description
Part of a leat (nprn 527328) marked on the 1890 OS map taking water to Caerynwch house. A rubble stone aqueduct with a flat deck, 6m long, 2.5m wide and 2m high. On the deck is a fragment of a slate trough, 1.5m long, 1m wide and 0.5m deep, the sides held together by horizontal iron ties. (The trough is made of 4 slabs, each 1.5m long and 0.5m wide.)
