Description
This earthwork bank lies on the flatter, lower ground to the northwest of Dinas hillfort, NPRN 304942. It is aligned southwest to northeast and measures 2.5 metre wide, with a 2.5 metre wide ditch downslope to its northwest with a possible counterscarp bank. The profile of the bank is very similar to the rampart banks of the hillfort, and dissimilar to the field boundary banks nearby which have the gully or ditch upslope and it is thought that this could be an outwork for the hillfort.
