Description
A 2-cell sub-rectangular sheepfold oriented SW-NE, 7m long and 4m wide, with drystone walls standing up to 1.5m high. The entrance is in the SE side, where there is also an opening with a sill, and there is a sheep creep in the dividing wall. Outside to the SE is an enclosure, 8m square but with rounded angles. There are 2 guide walls, running N and NE, respectively. The latter is 7m long, whilst the former runs N for 22m, then returns and joins an outcrop, forming another enclosure. This sheepfold is labelled as such on the 1891 OS map. However, the sill of the opening in the SE wall suggests that it was originally a dwelling.
