DescriptionAn aqueduct running northeast from a sluice is shown on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map. It was recorded by Trysor during fieldwork for the Moel Ysgyfarnogod Uplands Survey in 2015. The leat, now a dry gully, runs from the small valley of the Nant Ddu to the south, under a trackway at SH6514636201 where it is covered by slate slabs and then along the western edge of the trackway. It then follows a different course to the track via SH6514336252 and SH6517636330 to a stone bank at SH6520536345 which seems to have supported a former launder/aqueduct. Overall the leat is approximately 185 metres long. J.J. Hall, Trysor, 25 March 2015
