Description
The Griffin Press Building is a two-storey stone-built printing works, that was built in 1870 on steeply sloping site. The building has an eight window street facade and a projecting two window central gable-entrance, including a Diocletian window in the gable over the inscription "GRIFFIN PRESS". The doorway and sash windows have brick segmental keystone arches, linked by a brick band. Printing operations ceased in 1988 and the building is now converted into apartments.
