Museum Cottage is a crog loft cottage dating from c.1800, and is now owned by Ceredigion District Council and preserved as a heritage site. It retains many vernacular features, including the original cobbled floor, although the layout has been altered; the current entrance was once the rear of the property, but its former front elevation was rendered unusable when the adjacent building was constructed.
