Swiss-style chalet, dated 1826 on S. gable. Timber framed, scalloped barge boards, slate roof, inscription 'Liberte et Patrie'. To a design of P. F. Robinson which appears in his 'Designs for Ornamental Villas' (1827). Used as a 'Dame School' during the 1820s (by Sarah Vivian).
