The Mormon Church in Llanelli was built in 1847 and dedicated in 1849. Situated in Island Place, Llanelli. Believed to the first purpose-built chapel for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints [Mormons] outside of America,tThe small, single storey building was demolished as part of a road-widening sceme in 1995. 

A blue plaque to mark the site of the church was installed by Llanelli Community Heritage.
