MaescannerBaptist Church was built in 1863 and rebuilt in 1888. The present church, dated 1888, is built in the Romanesque style of the gable entry type. C.1912 the interior was entirely rebuilt to the design of architect Mr Griffiths of Llanelli. The building is listed Grade 2 as a 'chapel with an unaltered front of the mid-Victorian period and a fine interior incorporating plasterwork and joinery of a high order'.
