Tabernacl Methodist Chapel was built 1821 (following the congregations move from Capel Lon Popty, NPRN 11561). The Tabernacl was rebuilt in 1834, in the Romanesque style of the long-wall entry type, but this chapel was converted into a pulic hall/cinema c.1900 (when the congregation moved to the New Tabernacl on Garth Road, NPRN 11940), and is now used as a nightclub.
