Description
Moriah Calvinistic Methodist Chapel was built in 1794, rebuilt in 1806 by Griffith Thomas, and again in 1826 by architect Richard Jones & Sons of Caernarvon. The chapel was rebuilt a third time in 1867, to the design of architect Richard Owen of Liverpool, in the Sub-Classical style of the short-wall entry type. Further modifications took place in 1892 but the chapel was destroyed by fire in 1976 and demolished.
