Ysgol Plascrug community school is located at the end of Plascrug Avenue, near Aberystwyth town centre. It educates approximately 450 pupils through the medium of English, but ‘places great value on Welsh, and a variety of other languages spoken by the pupils who attend the school.’ Around 5% of pupils speak Welsh at home, and around 25% ‘came from a variety of different ethnic minority backgrounds’
