Description
Llanrug Baptist Chapel was built in 1877 in a sub-Vernacular decorated style, with a predominantly roughcast exterior over a rubble stone base, with yellow and red decorative bickwork to the front gable entrance. The gable front has a large round-headed arched central bay, which is slightly recessed, at the centre of which are a pair of wooden double doors. The doors are flanked by a pair of round-headed arched windows, with two narrow rectangular windows above. The doors and windows all have decorative brickwork surrounds, which on the upper storey meet to form a further arch. The side elevations each have three tall round-headed arched windows. The pitched roof is of Welsh slate.
