Ebenezer Independent Chapel was built in 1857 by architect J. James of London and builder H.Yates of Liverpool. The chapel was then modified in 1863, 1867 and 1892. The present chapel is built in the Simple Round-Headed and Later Vernacular style of the gable entry type but is now used as a village hall.
