Coffa Emrys Independent Chapel was built in 1879, to the design of architect Owen Morris Roberts of Porthmadog, in the Vernacular style of the gable entry type. The chapel was demolished c1985 and replaced with a block of flats and shops. Services were then held in the vestry.
