Description
Mynydd Methodist Chapel was built in 1868 to the design of architect Richard Owen of Liverpool. The chapel is built in the Gothic style with a long-wall entry plan and replaced an earlier chapel (NPRN:7433) which remains in existence. A new schoolroom & chapel house were added in 1887 and the chapel restored and decorated in 1963. Mynydd is now Grade 2 Listed as a distinctive and well-preserved chapel by a notable architect.
