Philadelphia Welsh Congregational Chapel was built in 1823, then rebuilt and enlarged in 1850. The present chapel, dated 1850, is built in the Simple Round-Headed style with decorative brick banding and patterning. It was rebuilt to a gable-entry plan but retained its entrances at the two outer corners and twin central windows, which suggests that the chapel was originally of the long-wall entry type. Philadelphia was sold at auction in 1979 and was coverted for residential by 1995.
