A Sunday school used to meet in Ty Newydd farmhouse on the other side of the road until this chapel was built in 1895. The chapel was closed in 1993 and is now in private hands. It is shown on the 2nd edition 25" OS mapping as 'Methodist Chapel (Calvinistic)'. Is is a vernacular stone building with a gable entry in a, presumably later, brick porch. Metal railings on top of boundary wall.
