DescriptionPenllyn Methodist Chapel was built in 1846 as a British School, then the building was taken over by the Welsh Calvinistic Methodist Church and converted into a chapel after 1882. The chapel is built in the Sub-Classical style with venetian windows on the first and ground floors of the front facade, and has a gable entry plan, but with two entrances close to the outer corners. In the 1950s the name and denomination changed to Penllyn Evangelical Free Church.
