Cyssegr Independent Chapel was first built in 1826 and replaced by a new chapel in the late-19th century. This later chapel is stone-built, 2-storey and Italianate in style with a long-wall entry plan. It has a hipped roof, 3-bay facade with the central entry bay projecting forward, a raised gable and pinnacled pillasters.
