173 and 175 Chepstow Road are a pair of substantial houses, dated circa 1850 - 1880 and part of the Kensington Place conservation area. The pair appears on the 1881 OS Map as ‘Gore Villa’ and ‘Drayton’. Many of the original architectural features survive, particularly the stuccowork, doors and fenestration.
