Description

75 metres to the south of Dinas Dinlle hillfort, in the exposed west facing coast edge section, a possible cut feature with a dark orangey brown fill was noted during Gwynedd Archaeological Trust (GAT) Arfordir Coastal Heritage work between April 2009 and March 2012. No other distinctive features were noted (Parry et al 2012, 23).

No evidence of this feature was noted during EU-funded CHERISH project (RCAHMW and Aberystwyth University) work and coastal monitoring at Dinas Dinlle between 2017-2023. This is an actively eroding stretch of coastline.
