Onllwyn Ironworks comprised two blast furnaces, calcining kilns, a smithy and an ironworks shop, all linked by a system of tramroads. The works went out of use before 1878 and any remains are buried under Onllwyn Colliery tip (nprn 80144) which was re-landscaped about 1990.
