Cymau Methodist Chapel was built in 1839 and rebuilt in 1860, to the design of architect Edward Peters of Caergwrle. The chapel was then modified in 1877 and 1900. The present chapel, dated 1860, is built in the Simple Gothic style of the gable entry type.
