Salem Methodist Chapel was built in 1800, modified in 1840 and rebuilt in 1876. The 1876 chapel was designed by architectf J. Humphreys-Jones and built in the Simple Round-Headed style of the of long-wall entry type. By the late twentieth century Salem had been converted into residential acommodation.
