DescriptionFormer mill-house and mill in range, possibly C17th in origin and largely stone built, now converted to a single dwelling. The storeyed mill-house has a single ground-floor chamber with an end chimney and probable fireplace stair; the mill has been gutted but the framed partition between mill and house survives. The 700 metre leet and wheel pit partly survive. An 1891 sale catalogue described the mill as having two pairs of stones. There is an adjacent unmodernised timber-fronted C19th cattle housing (SO 2344 6943, NPRN 98301). Noted in 1994. (2003.02.12/RCAHMW/RFS)
