The first Rhulen Methodist Chapel was built before 1800 and was probably part of a farmhouse. The present Rhulen chapel was built in 1861, in the Simple Round-Headed style with a long-wall entry plan and cement rendered walling. By 2000 Rhulen had been converted into a dwelling.
