Description
The Quaker Friends met for many years at Tyddyn y Garreg, a room in the house of the Owen family . A new meeting house (NPRN 8337) was built nearby by Dorothy Owen (1751-93) in 1792. The burial ground at Tyddyn y Garreg , dated c.1645, is situated a few hundred yards away, although no stones remain the last Quaker burial was in 1846. This site was acquired in 1854 by Tabor (NPRN 8337).
