DescriptionClawddponcen Calvinistic Methodist is a small simple chapel built in the Sub-Classical style with a gable-entry plan. It has a rendered facade, centre gabled porch, formerly up steps, and an "1877" date stone on the doorway lintel. It has a wooden-boarded door, a circular vent with inset trefoil in the chapel apex and flanking 2-pane width windows in round-headed openings with plain reveals. There are three window openings with flat heads at eaves level to each return elevation. The rear gable is built of red brick with yellow brick quoins and the roof is slated. By 2003 Clawddponcen had fallen into disuse and was partly boarded up.
