DescriptionSoar Chapel was built and opened in 1904, but closed as a chapel in 1939. It is stone-built in a Sub-Classical style with a slate roof and gable-entry. There are four tall windows to each return, now flat-headed with cemented reveals. The gable facade has a wide segmentally-headed window over an altered and widened central doorway, with tall segmentally-headed flanking windows. The latter are partly boarded up, but there are some extant small-pane glazing bars still visible. There are also moulded bargeboards. In 2003 Soar was being used for commercial storage.
