Description
The first Cefnddwysarn Chapel (NPRN 12084) was built in 1822 and enlarged in 1850. The present chapel was built on an adjacent site in the late nineteenth century and is Sub-Classical in style with a gable entrance. The exterior is rendered above a brick plinth. The gable facade has a flat-arched window opening in plain, pilastered arcading each side of a central doorway with a five sided head. The doors are wooden-boarded and there is a pierced overlight. The prominent triple window above is blind. There are four window openings in the right-hand return wall with narrow sash windows with margin panes. In 2003 Cefnddwysarn was still in use as a chapel.
