DescriptionPeniel Methodist Chapel was built in 1831, altered in the late nineteenth century and then rebuilt in 1906. The small 1906 chapel is built in the Sub-Classical style with a gable-entry and rendered and scribed elevations. The end facade has a central porch flanked by sash windows with margin panes, all with segmental heads. It also has plain end pillasters that continue as a plain roof cornice. There is a moulded surround to an eye window in the apex with a rectangular plaque underneath. By 2003 Peniel had been converted for residential use.
