The original chapel was built c 1832, and then rebuilt or modified 1872, in a Romanesque style, with a gable entry plan type. It was in chapel use in 1995. The gable facade has a shallow gabled porch, which has a tripartite and rose window above, and is flanked by tall round-headed windows
