Description
1. A standard Great Western Railway brick-built coaling stage, surmounted by a 45,000 gallon water tank. Built in c1925 as part of the re-modelling of the locomotive depot at Aberystwyth Station (nprn 34676), it is unique in Wales as one of only two ex-GWR types still standing in Britain, the other being at the GWR centre at Didcot.

2. The structure has been demolished and cleared; the site will provide a few extra parking spaces for the adjacent car park.
