1884 (OS 6-inch 1st Edn.): A line running parallel to and to the south of the Merthyr-Hirwaun road joining the main stem of the system at SO03440659.

1905 (OS 6-inch 2nd Edn.): The line had been cut back to the junction with a new branch at SO02140689. West of this point the track had been removed.
