DescriptionY Babell Methodist Chapel is a tiny structure built in a very simple Vernacular style that looks early nineteenth century, although apparently Sunday School services were only held in it from 1938, when it was a branch of Ty Mawr Chapel, Capel Coch (G.Jones, 'Capeli Mon', p.84). The chapel has a gable-entry type plan and is one of the simplest and smallest chapels recorded. By 2007 Y babell was in use as a store house.
