DescriptionLibanus Independent Chapel was built in 1844, modified in 1850 and enlarged in 1859. In 1907 the chapel was rebuilt in the Arts and Crafts style. It is a simple building with a gable-entrance towards the road. Libanus was disused in 1999 but is now Grade 2 Listed as a small early twentieth century chapel with strong arts and crafts character and many original features, including a fine moulded plaster ceiling and Renaissance style panelling.
