Elim Methodist Chapel cause began in 1804 with services initially held at Ty Mawr Farm. A chapel was built in 1835 and then rebuilt on the same site in 1890 in the later Vernacular style of the gable-entry type. The chapel closed in 1985 and has since been converted for residential use.
