Nebo Independent Chapel was first built in 1823, rebuilt on a larger scale in 1830 and improved in 1836,1851 and again in 1890. The present chapel, dated 1890, is constructed in the Sub-Classical style with simple round-headed first floor windows and a hipped box plan. Nebo is now Grade 2 Listed for it's 'architectural interest as one of the earliest surviving chapels in the region, retaining mid C19 external character with an unaltered later C19 interior'(CADW).
